On your wedding day, you do not want to run around making sure every detail is perfect. You want to relax and enjoy being the star of the show. Wedding day direction helps make sure all of those last-minute details are taken care of.
Initial Meeting
Two to four weeks before your wedding date, we will meet with you and your fiancé to review your wedding plans and to discuss your event’s details. We will review your vendor contracts to help you spot any potential snags. We will also produce a timeline of your wedding event so that every participant knows exactly where they are supposed to be at any given moment.
Wedding Rehearsal
This important “practice wedding” will help identify rough spots in the ceremony and familiarize everyone in the wedding party with the event. At this time we will review the contents of the ceremony and make any suggestions we think will make the event run more smoothly.
Wedding Ceremony
We arrive 2–3 hours prior to your ceremony to oversee the setup and ensure that the vision for your wedding is properly carried out. We will greet and supervise your vendors so that they have one person to go to with questions that is not you. This will let you focus on getting married while we manage the details. We keep an emergency kit on hand to deal with the unexpected.
Wedding Reception
Just because the ceremony is over doesn’t mean the work is done. We stay with you through the reception to keep things running smoothly, so that you and your new spouse cut the cake on time. We help track all your personalized items (guest book, cake topper, etc.) so that you have them for years to come. We make sure you get a chance to eat (or, if you prefer, we send you off with a to-go box). And after you have left, we stay and make sure everything gets packed and cleaned up properly.
Cost
As with full wedding planning, the cost for this service varies based on the size of the wedding, the location, and the amount of time in advance that we begin working with you. Fees begin at $800 but are custom-quoted for each wedding. Please contact us to set up a complimentary consultation.
