“You’re My Puzzle Piece” & “Happily Feather After”
This bride and groom wanted their wedding to incorporate not just one, but two complimentary themes that included puzzle pieces and feathers. The bride and groom fondly refer to one another as their puzzle piece meaning that they were uniquely created for each other with special talents, gift sets and personalities that complimented each other. Balancing each theme and not allowing one to overpower the other required careful planning.
Guests were greeted with the couple’s monogram lavished with black puzzle pieces. The puzzle piece theme was also carried through to the flower girls dropping black and white puzzle pieces on a white aisle runner. The gazebo located behind the Estate House at Cypress Grove Park was embellished with hot pink bunting, white feather boas and over-sized black and white puzzle pieces. Delicate glass tea light holders were filled with pink water and suspended from the ceiling of the gazebo. Guests were treated to white fans and black umbrellas in case of heat or rain. The program booklet was hand-made and completed with a black puzzle piece.
Attention to small details like these helps convey the themes this couple selected. Their wedding was a complete success.
